Welcome to Chattooga Florist, a boutique floral studio located in Summerville, Georgia. We’re proud to offer fresh, custom floral designs for birthdays, anniversaries, sympathy and funeral services, everyday occasions, and special events.

My name is Jimmy Burrage, and I’m the owner and designer behind Chattooga Florist.

I grew up right here in Summerville and graduated from Chattooga High School in 1987. Although my career took me away for many years, I always knew this community would be home again.

I began working professionally in the floral industry in 1998, and over the years I’ve designed flowers in shops across Atlanta, Georgia, and in several cities throughout Texas, including Houston, Galveston, Austin, and Killeen. Eventually, I purchased and operated my own flower shop in Killeen, Texas, which I owned until relocating back to Georgia.

Along the way, I earned the Texas Master Florist certification in 2014 and later became a Certified Floral Designer (CFD) through the American Institute of Floral Designers (AIFD) in 2020—one of the most respected professional design credentials in the floral industry.

Now, I’m excited to bring that experience back to my hometown and offer something different to Chattooga County: a florist shop focused on custom design instead of cookie-cutter arrangements.
